Wynn Las Vegas sues Alonzo Mourning Charities, Inc over pending bills

Wynn Las Vegas is suing Alonzo Mourning Charities, Inc over what it claims of pending bills during the 2007 NBA All-Star Game. Wynn lawyers have said that NBA Entertainment and the player's charity’s group owe Wynn’s $50,000 in unpaid bills for meetings and convention space as part of an agreement they had.
The Las Vegas hotel spokeswoman
Jennifer Dunne said the lawsuit seeking payment from the NBA and a player's
charity was filed against Alonzo Mourning Charities, Inc. and not against NBA
Entertainment and NBA Properties. In the lawsuit filed June
16th in Clark County District Court, Wynn claims that the charity foundation used its convention
and meeting space for a fundraising event during the 2007 All-Star Week. According Wynn’s
attorneys, a charity billiard tournament and silent auction were held at Wynn
Las Vegas on Feb. 15th, 2007. Several
incidents happened during the 2007 NBA All Star weekend, the
