WSOP Circuit ready for first event of the year at Harrah's Tunica

The WSOP Circuit is moving to the Harrah's Tunica in Mississippi for the fifth stop in the 2009/2010 season, which is set to run from Wednesday, January 20th to Thursday, February 11th, 2010.
Harrah's Tunica will be the first WSOP circuit event held in the new year and will offer players a total of 19 tournaments. The WSOP Circuit Harrah's Tunica will feature a total of 19 No Limit Hold'em events with buy ins ranging from $200 + $30 to $5,000 + $150 for the Main Event Championship. The poker tournament series will also feature two special events, a $200 (+30) buy-in Ladies No Limit Hold'em Circuit Event Championship, and a $200 (+30) buy-in Seniors No Limit Hold'em Championship. The 2010 Championship Event (Event #19), will feature a $15,000 starting stack and 12 levels consisting of 60 minutes each. Besides the cash prize, Main Event winner will get a seat at the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. Players will have the chance to qualify for the main event through the daily satellites available through February 18th with buy ins of $230 and $340.
"Harrah's Tunica has always been one of the biggest and brightest stops on the circuit. We wanted to mix-in a variety of games, because it is what the players want. Last year, we had all of the tables going throughout the day." said tournament director, Jimmy Sommerfeld.
In addition to the scheduled ring events, Harrah's Tunica will host $200 (+30) and $300 (+40) 4:00 pm daily non-ring tournaments to include Omaha, Omaha hi-low and H.O.R.S.E.
