Eva’s Heroes announced today that 11-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and member of Team UltimateBet.com, Phil Hellmuth, will return to the AlamoCity to host the Second Annual Tony and Eva Parker Celebrity Casino Night. The Casino Night will be held at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, September 12^th, 2009 and will feature dinner, drinks, and traditional casino games, such as blackjack and roulette. There will also be a silent and live auction and a Texas Hold‘em Tournament. The winner of the poker tournament will receive a seat to the 2010 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Having the biggest name in poker hosting our event adds a special touch to the poker tournament that will make for a very memorable night.” said Eva’s Heroes Executive Director Christiane Perkins-Garcia.

Besides his long record of victories in poker tournaments around the world, Hellmuth serves as a commentator on Bravo’s “Celebrity Poker Showdown” and is a poker coach on Fox Sports Network’s “Best Damn Poker Show”. Hellmuth has also published several instructional DVD’s and authored several books, including the famous “Phil Hellmuth's Texas Hold'em Poker” and “Phil Hellmuth’s Million Dollar Online Poker Secrets”.

The second annual Celebrity Casino Night event is organized by Eva’s Heroes, a non profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people with developmental challenges by providing an inclusive setting built on four tenets – interact, grow, learn, and love. Based in San Antonio, the organization provides aid to children and young adults and helps them to integrate and flourish in society.
