The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has just announced the schedule for its 2008-2009 Season of circuit events. As usual, all the events will be taking place at casinos owned by Harrah's inside the United States territory. The high-stakes poker tournaments will provide poker fans several chances to compete on a regional basis in a series of events that also include the opportunity to win a seat in the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.

We continue to fine tune the World Series of Poker Circuit schedule and structures to deliver poker players the best tournaments throughout the year." said Jeffrey Pollack, Commissioner of the World Series of Poker.

The 2008-2009 World Series of Poker Circuit will begin on October 2^nd, 2008 at the Caesars Indiana, and the 2008-2009 circuit is programmed to close on May 8, 2009 at Harrah's New Orleans.

Circuit stops will include Harrah's properties in Hammond (Illinois), Lake Tahoe (Nevada), Atlantic City (New Jersey), Tunica (Mississippi), Council Bluffs (Iowa), Rincon (Southern California), Las Vegas and New Orleans (Mississippi) .
