The World Extreme Cagefighting has released the official fight card for WEC 47: Bowles vs. Cruz, scheduled to take place on March 6th, 2010 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
WEC 47, which airs live on Versus from the Nationwide Arena, will be headlined by bantamweight title bout between current champion Brian Bowles and. challenger Dominick Cruz. The main card also includes Joseph Benavidez vs. Miguel Torres, Deividas Taurosevicius vs. LC Davis, and Jens Pulver vs. Javier Vazquez.
The preliminary card will feature a featherweight bout between Las Vegas-based Fredson Paixao (8-3, 1 NC) and Bryan Caraway (14-4), as well as Featherweight bout between WEC newcomer Chad Mendes and undefeated 145-pounder Erik Koch.
