Vikings vs. Saints Tickets Selling for Record-High Prices

This Sunday the New Orleans Saints will take on the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC Championship, in what will be the biggest home game in Saints history. For those planning to purchase tickets for this historic game, this means having to pay top-dollar.
Even though most of the tickets for Sunday's game are in the hands of Saints ticket-holders, many of these Saints fans say that the monetary value of the tickets outweigh the need to see the Saints take on the Vikings in person. Many of these ticket-holders have even turned to Craigslist to cash-in on the coveted tickets.
One man who was selling his two club-level seats for $3,000 on Cragslist said, "I needed the money," as he took into consideration letting go of his tickets to one of the greatest NFC matchups in NFL history.
Another ticket-holder looking to cash-in online said that he didn't feel bad about giving up his tickets, since they went to a fellow Saints fan. "It would have been real hard to sell to the opposing team," said the man after selling his tickets.
However, another fan felt a bit guilty about selling his tickets for over a thousand dollars a piece to locals, saying "Because I feel kind of bad about asking prices like this from local guys like you or me," he said. "I'd rather take a chance and hose a Vikings fan, than hose my neighbor down the road."
Although some tickets are going for as high as $9,000 a seat, there are still lower priced tickets available here.
