Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel has recently opened the only Classic Slot Room in Las Vegas. Located adjacent to the property's poker room, the Classic Slot Room gives visitors the chance to have a classic Las Vegas experience while they play some of the most popular games from the 1980s and early 1990s.
"The Classic Slot Room features some of the more popular games from the past and we are sure they will continue to gather a loyal following. Since the machines payout in coins, those nostalgic for the days when the sound of cascading coins accompanied your win will be thrilled. When our guests play in the Classic Slot Room not only will they hear the sound of cheering but they will also hear the clinking of falling coins. Additionally, since the payout is in cold hard coins, we have coin buckets available throughout the room as well as a coin redemption machine – just in case you don't want to haul those coins back home with you." said Marty Gross, vice president and general manager of Eastside Cannery.
These classic nickel and quarter games will bring players back to a time when Las Vegas hotel and casinos offered coin slots. A total of 56 slot machines are available in the Classic Slot Room including Fortune 1 Video poker games, Humpback Keno, Deuces Wild Video poker, Jokers Wild Video poker, Triple Diamond, Double Diamond, 5X's Pay, Triple Lucky 7's and more.
"Eastside Cannery sits on the site of the old Nevada Palace and many former customers of that casino are very fond of these games. So we decided it was time to create a room dedicated to these classic slot machines. Offering a Classic Slot Room is a great option as it is more in line with the demand we are seeing and gives all our guests access to product they can't find in other casinos," added Gross.

This is a great idea! now i wish they would bring back the snack bar from westward ho The stardust the mecanical horse race machine and countless other things they have mistakenly taken away in favor of $150.00 show tickets $50.00 dinners and other overpriced nonesense. I am a club member at the cannery propertys and will FOR SURE STOP IN ON MY NEXT VISIT for this unique oppertunity. Kudos to the staff members who did this.
Thanks again Shannon (the cannon) Covert.
