Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to MGM GRand for UFC 130: Frankie Edgar Vs. Gray Maynard III

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will return to the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on May 28th for UFC 130 Edgar vs. Maynard 3, a thrilling MMA event headlined by a lightweight championship fight featuring Frankie Edgar and unbeaten challenger Gray Maynard.
This event marks Edgar and Maynard's third re-match and their second fight for the UFC Lightweight title. Previously, Manyard scored a victory by unanimous decision in the first match held at UFC Fight Night: Florian vs. Lauzon. Last year, Edgar won the UFC Lightweight Championship against lightweight champion BJ Penn at UFC 112. The two fighters met again on January 1st at UFC 125: Resolution, with the fight ending in a split draw, and Edgar retaining his title.
In addition, the organization has also announced that ten bouts have been confirmed for UFC 130. The card also features former Light Heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson vs. “The Ultimate Fighter†Season 3 alum Matt Hamill, former WEC champion Miguel Torres vs. Brad Pickett, former interim UFC champion Frank Mir vs. “The Ultimate Fighter†Season 10 winner Roy Nelson. Other bouts programmed include Brazilian MMA legend Thiago Alves vs. Rick Story, and Norifumi Yamamoto vs. Chris Cariaso.
