Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas, has announced the aperture of its signature gourmet restaurant called DJT (bearing the initials of Donald J. Trump). DJT is placed inside the hotel's impressive grand lobby. The restaurant’s fantastically selected menu specializes in modern American gastronomy, matching perfectly with the intimate and sophisticated atmosphere that surrounds your dinner experience. DJT was designed by Dean Singer and Jodi Barnett, who also designed the Trump International lobby; the decoration and the moderate color palette give DJT a vintage environment and a cozy feeling complemented by the velvet curtains, suede walls, crystal chandeliers and circular banquettes.

Chef Joseph Isidori, Donald Trump’s personal chef and executive chef at the Trump-owned Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, is the mastermind behind the magnificent culinary creations at DJT.  Isidori’s concept dishes and modern approach creates a complete new concept of traditional American recipes. Isidori’s signature dishes include Chilled Sweet Pea Soup with fromage blanc, and fruit and vegetable jewels; Miso-Yaki Tasmanian Sea Trout with steel-head roe, grapefruit and yuzu emulsion; crawfish, veal sweetbreads, spring pea and harissa and Roasted California Squab with Chinese black beans, citric and ginger.

Other options in the menu will also include an exclusive Champagne cart, caviar cart, cognac cart with absinthe, and dessert cart with petit fours. Chef Isidori has also crafted a gastronomic delight for visitors who are looking for something more than only one taste. “The Deal" is a superb, eight-course tasting menu created to harmonize with DJT’s select wines "The Deal" is also planned to change every night to include new appetizers, entrees and particular chef creations. DJT’s wine connoisseur and head Sommelier, Michael Shearin has selected a broad list that features some of the best and rarest wines in the world, including small-producer wines. Shearing also included 27 different types of sake, 52 types of beer and 25 sodas not often found in the market. DJT is a fine dinning experience rarely seen in Las Vegas and comparable with some of the greatest restaurants including Spago at the CaesarsPalace Hotel and Casino, Penazzi Italian Ristorante at Harrah’s Las Vegas and Michael Mina at the Bellagio.
