Trans Siberian Orchestra (often abbreviated as TSO), one of the top selling concert acts in the world, has unveiled the show dates for its upcoming winter holiday tour set to kick off in November, 2010.
The 78-date concert tour begin on November 3rd with a double header event set to take place at Covelli Centre in Youngstown, OH, and at Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA. Other stops include Huntington Center in Toledo, OH (November 11th), Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC and Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY (November 12th), Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas (November 27th), AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX (December 4th) and BJCC Arena in Birmingham, AL (December 11th).
The band founded in 1996 by Paul O'Neill, who has managed and produced rock bands including Aerosmith, Humble Pie, and The Scorpions, is known for their sophisticated renditions of traditional Christmas songs and elaborate concerts, complete with a full light show and dozens of pyrotechnics synchronized with their performances.
"When someone goes to a TSO concert, we don't want them to walk away saying 'that was a great show' or 'that was worth it' or even 'that was the best show I've seen in a long time.' We want them to say, 'Man, that the best show ever; we just ripped that band off.'" commented TSO founder, producer and writer Paul O'Neill.
