TitanPoker.com launches 2009 Irish Open satellites

Titan Poker has announced the introduction of its online Super Satellite series, which offer players tow chances a week to win seats at Europe's most prominent poker tournament: the 2009 Irish Open.

The biggest live poker tournament in the Old Continent has announced its return to Dublin on April 2009 and TitanPoker.com will give all players, regardless of their level or skill, the possibility to play side to side with the some of the best professional poker players in an exciting event with the introduction of the online Irish Open 2009 Super Satellites series.



The Irish Open is among the oldest poker tournaments in the world and the longest running Hold'em tournament in Europe. The 2007 Irish Open Main Event was officially the largest poker tournament in Europe, attracting 708 players and amassing a total prize pool of €2.3 Million ($2.8 million. The 2008 Irish Open gathered a field of 667 players for a €3,001,400 prize pool, British poker player, Neil Channing, stole the show to win the first place and €801,400.

The 2009 Irish Open promises even bigger surprises once it returns to the Dublin from April 10th to 13th, 2009. Once again, the tournament’s organizers expect best in poker, giving players the opportunity to put their skills on trial against some of the greatest players in Europe and see if they have what it takes to win a share of the €3,000,000 prize pool.

The 2009 Irish Open will feature a €3,200 + €300 buy in, however, Titan Poker players can win their seats for as little as $2 + $0.2 at the special Sit 'N' Go satellites and daily qualifying tournaments.
