The Venetian & Palazzo Announce Free Winter in Venice Kick-Off Concert with Jordin Sparks
Grammy-nominated, platinum recording artist Jordin Sparks will kick off the Winter in Venice celebrations at The Venetian and Palazzo with a live concert on Monday, November 21st.
"I'm so excited to be a part of The Venetian and The Palazzo's first-ever Winter in Venice kick-off ceremony," said Sparks. "I love the holidays and can't wait to perform on the Las Vegas Strip!"
Sparks won American Idol in 2007 and since then, has released two albums that made it to the Billboard Top 40 list and her self-titled debut album sold over 2 million copies around the world. Aside from touring with Britney Spears, Jonas Brothers and Alicia Keys, Sparks has performed for President Obama and will make her acting debut in 2012 in the movie "Sparkle".
With Sparks live concert in front of The Venetian on November 21st at 6:00 pm, the Winter in Venice celebrations will officially kick off and last for a total of 49 days. During this time, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a number of special events and celebrations, including a skating rink, nightly light shows and seasonal treats.
"As we launch the many festivities and holiday experiences of Winter in Venice, we are delighted to have the multi-talented singer, songwriter, model and actress Jordin Sparks perform and kick-off the inaugural event," said John Caparella, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo. "The holidays are based upon wonderful traditions that become lasting memories and we hope that this 49-day celebration brings joy, fun and good cheer to everyone. Buone Feste!"
