The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has recently announced that  the live season finale for its current Ultimate Fighter 12: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck  (TUF 12) has been set for December 4th at the Palms Resort and Casino's Pearl Concert Theater.

As announced by the UFC early this week, TUF 12 Finale will feature a showdown between the top two finalists from the popular MMA reality show, as well as featured fights outside of the 12th season's finals event. The main feature fight will present a light heavyweight bout featuring "The American Psycho" Stephan Bonnar (15-7) and Croatian contender and longtime training partner for UFC star Mirko Cro Cop, Igor Pokrajac (22-7). Bonnar, who fought Forrest Griffin in the first “The Ultimate Fighter” finale in April 2005 in one of the most memorable bouts in the history of the MMA promotion, will return to octagon for the first time since his 2nd round TKO at UFC 116 in July, 2010, where he earned the “Fight of the Night” honor for his spectacular victory over Canadian fighter Krzysztof Sosznyski

The main feature fight card will also feature an exciting match presenting Brazilian mixed martial arts star, Demian Maia (13-2) vs. “The Ultimate Fighter 3” winner Kendall Grove (14-7, 1 NC).  Both fighters are coming from scoring important victories over their contenders. Grove achieved a split decision win over Goran Reljic at UFC 116 in July, while Maia defeated Mario Miranda at UFC 118 in August.
