The Lord of the Rings Slots Coming Soon to Microgaming Casinos

Yesterday, Microgaming announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution which would allow the online casino software provider to create a series of slot games based on the incredibly popular "The Lord of the Rings" movie trilogy.
Ever since Microgaming became the first online casinos software provider to create branded slot games with "Tomb Raider", many other companies followed suit with DC Comics slots, Hellboy and Marvel-based slot games. These games proved to be a huge draw and "The Lord of the Rings" will be no exception.
The three films in the "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy include "The Fellowship of the Ring", "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King" and their global box office sales have surpassed $3 billion. In total the three films have received an incredible 30 Oscar nominations and won 17 of them. All three of the films have won an Oscar for "Best Visual Effects" and Microgaming will incorporate the amazing effects, themes and characters featured in the films into the upcoming slot games.
