The Doobie Brothers and Three Dog Night will perform a charity concert in Las Vegas

International charity organization Soles4Souls Inc., announced that legendary rock bands The Doobie Brothers and Three Dog Night are will perform a benefit concert for the non-profit organization in Las Vegas. The concert will take place on Monday, July 28th at the Orleans Arena in the Orleans Hotel and Casino.

Formed in 1969 by songwriter Tom Johnston and drummer John Hartman, the Doobie Brothers are known as one of the most influential rock bands of the 1970s, releasing a number of gold and platinum records and selling over 27 million albums in the U.S. The band wrote a series of hits, such as Travelin’ Man, Long Train Running, Black Water, Listen to the Music, Texas Lullaby, You Belong to me, What a Fool Believes and many more.

With mega-hits like "Mama Told Me Not to Come," "Joy to the World," "Black and White" and "Shambala”, Three Dog Night was unquestionably one of the most popular bands in the U.S during the late 60’s and early 70’s. The band counts with twenty-one consecutive Top 40 hit singles and won twelve straight gold LP’s, also, by late 1975, Three Dog Night had sold nearly 50 million records worldwide.
