Sticking it out through hard times will expose the true colors of an individual.  And boy did the red white and blue of American poker players ever shine so clear in 2007.  When those crazy Republicans tried to end online poker in America, We the people fought back.  In 2007 the biggest and most influential acts of wisdom were done by the players themselves. Sure ESPN was brilliant, and Harrah's could be atop this list, however it is only right to reward those who truly deserve a merit.  Keep it up guys and let’s continue to keep the cards in the air.

2. The Online Game: Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars.

PokerStars.com is the biggest poker room on the planet, however Full Tilt Poker was the one who made the largest movements for perfection and greatness in 2007.  It was (FTP) the fastest growing online poker room in the business.  One has to credit these two rooms though for there willingness to stick with the American people, even when times got rough.  And, at the moment: they are being rewarded…heavily rewarded. Keep the software updates coming, online poker was perhaps

3. The Two Mouths:  Phil Hellmuth and Mike Matusow.

Poker is categorized as a game, but it can also be considered as an entertainment. When these two players get hot the poker table becomes a complete show, sometimes even taking things to a level that can be irritating, but in some occasions getting the rest of the players mad is an strategy that can give you pretty good results  Blow up's are like word's of passion, coming from heated players just taking bad or terrible beats.  Claiming there luck run's bad, these two are definitely afraid to speak there mind.  Telling other people at the table how terrible is just what we want as viewers and fans.  Keep it up boys; we love your trash talking...the biggest boom in 2007 for poker in general.
