Sports Illustrated models to unveil 2010 swimsuit edition in Las Vegas

Sports Illustrated models and rockers Maroon 5 will be in Las Vegas next week to unveil the cover and celebrate the launch of the 2010 S.I swimsuit edition with a series of exclusive parties, live shows and public appearances at several locations throughout the city. The events are organized by Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, which recently signed a three-year partnership with The Sports Illustrated Group to serve as the presenting sponsor of the annual celebration.
Jet nightclub at the Mirage Hotel and Casino, Vanity at the Hard Rock Hotel Hotel and Casino and Tao in The Venetian will host events commemorating the launch of the 2010 swimsuit edition. The celebrations will kick off on February 10th with swimsuit models appearances and autographs sessions at Margaritaville at Flamingo Las Vegas (11 a.m. to 1 p.m), The Mirage Poker Room tournament (2 p.m. to 4 p.m) and The new Garden of the Gods Pool at Caesars Palace, followed by an exclusive party at Jet featuring the Asian destinations used for the swimsuit shoots.ÂÂ
Models will also make public appearances on February 11th at The Mirage lobby (1 p.m. to 3 p.m), Le Cabaret at Paris Las Vegas (3 p.m. to 5 p.m) and Emeril Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo Resort and Casino. Maroon 5 will perform at Club SI Swimsuit hosted by Vanity Nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on February 11th, closing with an after party at Tao Nightclub at 1 a.m.
The 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue will launch on Feb. 10 on newsstands, online and on iPhones. For the third straight year, the cover of this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, along with the identity of the 2010 cover model, will be unveiled on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, February 8th at 11:35 p.m. ET.
