Snoop Dogg unveils his wax figure at Las Vegas' Madame Tussauds

Hip Hop artist, musician and producer Snoop Dogg attended a special ceremony held at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas to unveil his wax replica at the famous MadameTussaudsMuseum in Las Vegas on Monday, April 20th. The wax figure, valued at an estimated $300,000, made Snoop the first living rap artist to be immortalized in wax at the Museum.

“I'm honored! It’s real to be immortalized in wax in the ranks with President Barack Obama.” said Snoop, whose real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr.

ocated in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino, Madame Tussauds, which last week announced the addition of Snoop Dogg sculpture, are known for their effigies of names such as Tupac Shakur, Evander Holyfield, Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious B.I.G., Justin Timberlake, Jackie Robinson, Beyoncé, Shaquille O’Neal, Diana Ross, Tiger Woods, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley, James “Papa Soul” Brown, William Shakespeare, and most recently President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama among others.

"He was on high demand at our museums. When we asked guests who they wanted to see next, Snoop was at the top of the list." said Roxanne Holland of Madame Tussauds.
