Shameless Self Promotion

you Phil Hellmuth. Phil you may be one of the best no limit Hold'em
tournament players ever to play the game, but you often display no class while
at the table. Your constant berating of other players for their bad play
is not only annoying and tired, it is also unbelievably rude. You should
be delighted that so many amateurs play in the big buy in poker tournaments. If
you are as good as you say you are, most of the players should be dead money to
you.
I can only see one reason he likes to throw his fits so much: shameless self
promotion. But why Phil? Americans like to see heroic virtues in
their beloved sports figures. Not that poker is a sport, but it has
televised events and players competing which makes it comparable to
sports. Take a cue from some well spoken athletes and try to follow
suit. You are good we all get that, so stop trying to convince us.ÂÂ
Phil you no longer need your ridiculous monologues in front of the camera to
secure endorsements. Everyone in the world of poker knows who you are.ÂÂ
If someone wants you to endorse their product or something of the like, I'm
sure they can find you. Embarrassing players on TV and acting like a jerk in front of millions of viewers only hurts
poker. Some of these players that you scorn on TV may never again put up
money that you could win. So be nice and keep your non sense commentaries
to yourself.
On the other hand I do enjoy your verbal spars with other professionals. Remember, Mike Tyson only beat up professional boxers so keep your jabs aimed
at the pros. I do also wonder what kind of guy you are when the camera
lights aren't shining? Do you still throw your tirades when playing high
stakes with other pros? Or do you take it like a man and move on?ÂÂ
