Sandy Hackett to open new Rat Pack show at Sahara Hotel

Sandy Hackett, son of the legendary entertainer and comedian Buddy Hackett, announced that a new Rat Pack Tribute show will open in November at the Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Produced by the Sandy Hackett and his wife, producer/singer/songwriter Lisa Dawn Miller, the show offers a fresh and exciting take on the comedic and musical legacy of the Rat Pack.
Hackett, who for a long time played a role in the “Rat Pack is back†at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas, said that 'Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show' will make its debut in mid November at the Congo Room inside the Sahara Hotel. “The Rat Pack is Back†show made its debut in Las Vegas in the late 90s also at the Congo Room. Now the show will bring the legacy of the Rat Pack, and his beloved father, full circle.
The show will feature Hackett as Rat Pack Comic Catalyst “Joey Bishopâ€Â, and the legendary Buddy Hackett as the voice of God, who sends the Rat Packâ€â€Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr. and their comedic catalyst Joey Bishopâ€â€down from their mischievous lair in heaven for one last spin.
“The body of work left behind by these wonderful entertainers is extraordinary and continues to fascinate millions of people all these many years later. A new “Ocean’s Eleven†was introduced to the current generation, but everyone in the film was an actor only. Frank, Dean, Sammy and Joey did it all.†said Sandy Hackett.
