Inventor Douglas Hines has just unveiled his latest creation at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. Described as a life-size robotic girlfriend with artificial intelligence and flesh-like synthetic skin, Hines states that she can't vacuum or cook but can do almost anything else - if you know what he is talking about.
Roxxxy stands at five feet, seven inches tall and weighs 120 lbs., she has an anatomically-correct body and can move just like a real human. Hines also states that this "robot", created by his TrueCompanion company "has a full C cup and is ready for action". The life-like robotic girlfriend also has three "inputs" and has a total of five personalities already programmed including Wild Wendy, Frigid Farrah and S&M Susan.
Since Roxxxy is connected to a laptop, customers can customize their girlfriend so that she will be in sync with her partner. If the customer is into sports, she can carry on conversations about their favorite team and even respond to touch depending on her personality type. Roxxxy can also connect to the internet wirelessly, allowing her to download technical updates and even send emails to her owner.
TrueCompanion unveiled the creation on Saturday at the AVN Expo in Vegas and Roxxxy will go on sale next with prices starting at $7,000 and reaching as high as $9,000. Hines received his inspiration for the doll after a friend died in the 9/11 attacks, leaving his children without a father. He wanted to create something that could carry on a person's personality after they were gone.
