Red Bull: New Year No Limits Las Vegas

After the incredible success of Red Bull’s 2007 version of the New Year No Limits, which featured the Australian pilot, Robbie Maddison attempting a new world record distance jump of over 322 feet at the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the ‘Bull and Sun’ is ready for a second round of action and amazing stunts in Las Vegas.

But besides Maddo, the jaw dropping New Years Eve stunt will also feature Rhys Millen, who last year failed to perform a truck backflip from ramp to ramp after hurting his back during the test hits. However, the 36-year-old daredevil from New Zealand will be back in Las Vegas to perform the jump and write his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

“My body can be broken but my mind cannot. This year, people will witness the first ramp to ramp back flip in an off-road truck - ever!” said Millen.

Robbie Maddison will also try to set a new elevation record, his goal is to jump more than 100 feet vertically, attempting to leap from a ramp onto the top of the Arc de Triumph replica located right in front of Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. An if he successfully completes the jump, then he will jump from the Arc and freefall to a landing ramp below.

"To see how high 100 feet is, it’s pretty overwhelming. Pretty much a fall from there would be 100-percent fatal. I love this stuff. Makes me so scared,” said Maddison.

Besides the thousands of revelers gathered in Las Vegas to see this amazing stunt, millions of viewers worldwide will also have the opportunity to witness both jumps thanks to ESPN, which will cover and broadcast the Red Bull event starting at 11:00 p.m. eastern time.
