Professional poker player Mel Judah launches "Cashout Poker" on Full Tilt Poker
- 11-2-2009
WSOP Bracelet winner and WPT Champion Mel Judah announced the launch of 'Cashout Poker'; a new concept in poker introduced by Full Tilt Poker featuring an innovative payment system in where players can cash out chips at any time during a Multi-Table Tournament.
Cashout poker, players will be able to leave a tournament at any time and cashout a proportion of their chip stack. For example, if the tournament buy-in is $1,000, and there are 700 players, the prize pool will be $700,000 in total. With Cashout Poker the prize pool will be split 50/50 to create two pools, the main prize pool and a cashout pool. Players who cash out before a tournament is done will get their cut from the cashout pool only.
Currently, Full Tilt Poker is the only online poker site offering players Mel Judah's “Cashout Poker†feature. However, the version of Cashout Poker running on Full Tilt Poker features a different version of the payout structure. Players can cashout in 10% increments of the buy-in. In addition, players who reach the final table will win a percentage of the remaining cashout pool.
