Premier League Poker 2008

Party Poker is extending an invitation to all poker players for the second edition of Premier League Poker that will be taking place from February 10th to February 16th at the 3 Mills Studio in London, England. Twelve of the best poker players in the world will fight for the $1 million price pot, which has doubled up since last year’s edition.
Some famous names in the world of poker will be joining the event, including last year’s winner Juha Helppi, Phil Hellmuth, Dave “The Devil Fish†Ulliott, Tony G Guoga, Andy Black, Ian Fraser, Roland de Wolfe, Vicky Coren, Marcel Luske, Annie Duke, Alexander Kravchenko and last year’s runner-up Eddy Scharf.
Phil Hellmuth is especially motivated to take revenge over Juha Helppi, who busted him in 200, leaving Hellmuth in 3rd place. “That was sick, but I swear Juha revenge and he will get it this year†said Hellmuth.
“It is going to be very hard to defend my tiltle†replied Juha Helppi.
“I will beat up Phil Hellmuth this hard, that he has to go back to the States in a rubber-boat†said Tony G.
The Premier League
Poker will award the winner with a juicy $250.000 check, the rules are the same as last year. The pros have to
play 6 first round matches and receive points for their final positions. After
first round the Top 4 players will be automatically qualified for final table,
places 5-8 fights for the last 2 seats in Heads-Up matches.
