PokerTime announces new Power Play-offs promotion
- 2-25-2009
Each month, players at PokerTime.com
are grouped in specific Player Tiers depending on the total amount of Poker
Points they have earned during the month. The Player tiers, which are separated
in Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, also determine the type of
promotions and events available to each Poker Time player. The more a player
participates in the ring games and tournaments PokerTime, the more points they
will accumulate and consequently the higher they will climb across the tiers
every month.
On March, 2009, the PokerTime Rake Races will take a small break from its traditional form to introduce the Power Play-offs, a new promo that will give Blue and Bronze tiered players the chance to take part in two $20,000 Supercharged Play-off events, while Silver/Gold and Platinum tiered Players also getting their own $20,000 VIP Power Play-off events. In addition, every single Player who earns at least 50 Poker Points during the month of March will also get an entry into the $20,000 All-In Power Play-off tournament.
Besides to the Play-off events, PokerTime will also introduce the all-new Power Smackdown tournaments; which are two $15,000 events open exclusively to all customers who played in any of the Supercharged Play-off or the VIP Power Play-offs running on the site. These exclusive invitation only tournaments will take place on March 19th and April 3rd, to enter the tournaments, players have to finish among the Top 100 finalists on any of the VIP Power Play-offs or finishing in among the Top 10 positions in the Supercharged Play-offs. PokerTime.com will also run a special draw in where a total of 40 entries will be awarded to players featured on any one of the leaderboards during March’s Power Play-offs.
