PokerStars signs Marcel Luske and Jason Mercier

PokerStars.com has announced two new additions to Team PokerStars Pro: Marcel 'The Flying Dutchman' Luske and Jason "treysfull21" Mercier.
Marcel Luske is widely known in the European poker circuit for his distinctive and style and sharp poker game. Luske gained the attention of the international player community in 2004 after finishing second in a WSOP Stud Event and finishing tenth in the WSOP Main Event. With an even-keeled temper and uncanny ability to read his opponents, he continued scoring a series of important victories in 2005 and 2006, earning a coveted championship title at WPT Randevous at Paris and two World Poker Tour Five Star World Poker Classics. Luske' won the European Poker Awards 'Life Time Achievement Award' in 2008 and ranked as the number one poker player in Europe in 2001 and 2003 at the European Poker Awards.
With more than $3.2 million in winnings since his first major tournament appearance at the 2008 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, Jason Mercier is considered one of the most talented and promising players of his generation. Jason first started playing poker when he was 15, and was introduced to online poker while he was studying at college to be a Math teacher. After a successful run playing No Limit Hold'em cash games, he decided to play poker full time, multi-tabling $2/4 and $3/6 no-limit Hold'em. Since then Mercier has achieved 3 European Poker Tour, one World Series of Poker bracelet won only a few days ago at the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event #40 and more than 21 cash outs in major live events, including World Poker Tour, European Poker Tour and World Series of Poker events.
