With the first Latin American Poker Tour Season Two currently undergoing in Costa Rica, PokerStars has announced details for the next stop of the LAPT: Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico from December 5^th to 7^th, 2008. The $2,700 buy-in LAPT Nuevo Vallarta event will be held at the luxurious Marival Resort & Suites located right in front of the beach, the event was added to the LAPT after the success of other LAPT season one held in Brazil, Costa Rica and Uruguay. Over a thousand poker players from more than forty nationalities took part on the LAPT Season 1, creating a prize pool of over $2.5 million. Season Two will take in a total of six countries including recently added events in Mexico, Chile and Argentina.

"PokerStars LAPT Season One was an overwhelming success, demonstrating the enormous growth and expansion of poker across Latin America and the appeal of these venues for international players. Moving the tour into Latin America's tourism high season will make it easier and even more enjoyable for players to travel to these exotic destinations for exciting, live high-stakes championship poker. Players have a lot to look forward to in Season Two as we are doubling the size of the tour. It will now run from November to April visiting six countries in six months," said LAPT President Glenn Cademartori.
