PokerStars announces 2009 Caribbean Adventure schedule

Online poker room and industry leader, Pokerstars.com, has announced the official schedule of its signature Caribbean Adventure live tournament in the Bahamas, which will take place between January 4th and January 10th at the Atlantis Hotel and Casino on ParadiseIsland.  According to PokerStars press release, the $10,000 main event will run from January 5th to January 10th, in addition, the tournament will also feature a $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em events as well as a $25.000 buy in High Roller Event expected to bring some of the biggest names in the professional poker tournament circuit.

 

The last edition of the Caribbean Adventure attracted more than a thousand players including hundreds of online qualifiers. Players can qualify through any of the online satellites available at the online poker site starting for as little as $7.50 or 500 FPPs. The prize packages for the Caribbean Adventure are worth $14,300 and include the $10,000 main event buy-in plus hotel accommodation and cash for personal and travel expenses.

Team PokerStars will be well represented in Bahamas, the professional squad of players will include names such as the WSOP champ Chris Moneymaker, Joe Hachem, Greg Raymer and Daniel Negreanu.
