Professional poker player and member of the world famous Team PokerStars, Daniel Negreanu, has announced that his first annual "Big Swing" charity golf event will take place at Las Vegas's Rio Secco Golf Club on June 25th, 2009. All the funds raised on the event will benefit the Lili Claire Foundation, a non profit organization founded in 1998 by Keith and Leslie Litt Resnick wit the objective of enhancing the lives of children born with specials needs and offering hope and support to the families who love them.
The event will feature 30 amateur teams, each playing golf with one professional poker player. The event will also give registered teams and players the chance to assist to a special pre-golf Pairing's Party, in where guests and players will enjoy brunch and a live drawing that will pair them with a celebrity poker professional. The charity event will include a "Closest To The Pin" competition in where each player will compete against Daniel Negreanu on the Par Three, Seventh Hole at Rio Secco.
