Did you ever wonder what hands the winners of the main events held on that magical moment when they won the World Series of Poker? Some of them were not what you would call great poker hands, but they got the job done and collected all the chips.
Stu "The Kid" Unger won with a 5/4 of Spades in 1980 against Doyle Brunson's A Hearts and 7 Spades.
Chris Ferguson put a bad beat on T.J. Cloutier when his A9 beat T.J.'s AQ in 2000.
