AbsolutePoker and UltimateBet are inviting customers to join the new "The Epic Nine" promo, which will give eight players a chance to play against Phil Hellmuth for a share of the $50,000 prize pool.
Players have several options to win an entry to this tournament. First, the winners of Absolute Poker and UB's monthly Multi Table Tournament and Sit and Go Leader Boards will automatically win a spot in The Epic Nine Main Event. New real money players who reach Silver FAME status in October will participate in The Epic Nine Freeroll A, which will award 1 seat to The Epic Nine Main Event. New real money players who reach Gold FAME status in October will participate in The Epic Nine Freeroll B, which will award 1 seat to The Epic Nine Main Event. New real money players who reach Platinum or higher FAME status in October will participate in The Epic Nine Freeroll C, which will award 1 seat to The Epic Nine Main Event.
In addition, Daily Status Points Race, SNG Tournament Leaderboard and Daily Points Race winners will qualify for the Epic Nine Ring Game Freeroll on November 7th @ 8 p.m. ET, which will award 2 seats to The Epic Nine Main Event.
The winner of this tournament will get $25,000, second place wins $15,000 and third place takes home $10,000. Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet are also placing a special bounty on Phil's head consisting of a bonus entry to a $200K event.
