PKR Super Series are back in action

PKR.com has announced the return of its hugely popular online poker festival, The PKR Super Series. This year's Series kicks off on June 26th and features 11 events to be played over a 12-day period and offering players the chance to win $230,000 in guaranteed prize money. In addition, each event winner will also walk away with a unique Super Series ’09 bracelet.
The 2009 Super Series schedule has been designed to offer something for everyone. From a six-seater deep stack to pot-limit Omaha bounty tournaments, all tournament disciplines will be covered during the twelve day poker-fest. The highlight of the series will be the $100,000 guaranteed PKR Masters, but this year also sees the addition of a new PLO Hi/Lo tournament offering a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool for just a $12 buy-in. The winner of each event will also get a unique Super Series 2009 Winner's bracelet, giving triumphant players a Vegas-style memento of their victory as well as the cash prize and bragging rights.
Buy-ins for the Super Series start as low as $10, which gives players the chance to win a slice of a guaranteed $10,000 in the NLH rebuy on day one. In addition there are many ways to win your way in via daily satellites and lotteries to each event. Players finishing among the top 200 ranked players of Super Series ’09 will qualify to play the $5,000 GTD freeroll scheduled on July 12th. The starting stack will be determined by the amount of pints accumulated over the course of the series, with 1 chip for every point earned.
