PKR releases 2009 Oktoberfest schedule of events

Online poker room PKR.com has released details of its 2009 Oktoberfest poker festival, a special tournament series featuring ten exciting online events running from on October 15th to November 1st and guaranteeing $120.000 in prizes.
PKR's 2009 Oktoberfest festival will offer a wide range of events featuring buy ins starting for as low as $6 and poker variations to ensure that every poker player can take part in the two week long event. The tournament series will also offer players a variety of formats such as Deep stack, Double Chance and the Terminator Bounty, as well as new events including Omaha Hi/Lo and re-buy tournaments plus the exclusive 'Ante Special' tournament.
The festival will officially kick off on October 15th with the $20 buy-in $12.500 guaranteed Six Seat Event and culminates on November 1st with a special $5000 guaranteed freeroll opened to all players who played at least in 3 of the 10 Oktoberfest tournaments.
"This year's Oktoberfest is even more accessible than ever with extremely affordable buy-ins. We've decided to run the festival alongside our new Primetime tournaments which have proved to be hugely popular, so now players can get the great value of Oktoberfest events and also have a shot at another top tournament – all in the same night." commented PKR's Cardroom Manager Neil Wright.
