Petruzelli and Romero added to UFC 116's Fight Card

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced the final undercard bout between Seth Petruzelli and Ricardo Romero to complete the official fight card for its upcoming UFC 116 event taking place on July 3, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The fight card will be headlined by a title unification Heavyweight Championship bout featuring current UFC Champion Brock Lesnar and Interim Champion and undefeated fighter Shane Carwin. The event will be co-headlined by a Middleweight bout between Brazilian MMA star Wanderlei Silva and Japanese mixed martial artist Yoshihiro Akiyama in his first bout since his victory at the UFC 100.
UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin main card also features rematch between Krzysztof Soszynski and Stephan Bonnar, and a Welterweight bout featuring TUF 4 and 7 finalists Chris Lytle and Matt Brown. The undercard will also showcaseseveral former participants of The Ultimate Fighter, including season 10 finalist Brendan Schaub vs. Chris Tuchscherer, Kendall Grove vs. Goran Reljic, and season 10’s Jon Madsen vs. Karlos Vemola.
