It’s not a secret that Las Vegas is a city that offers all kinds of shows, concerts and events, but if you want to get away from any of the typical Las Vegas shows, which are quite good might I add, then try something different and unique from Las Vegas. Penn and Teller show is one of those weird things that has to be seen at list once in a lifetime, famous for their exclusive combination of illusions, comedy and sharp observations during the show, these skillful magicians have gained the title of “Best Magic Team” according to several entertainment and show business specialists. The team first started to perform in 1975 when Pen Jillette, a former Latin teacher joined forces with “Penn”, a street act performer who was completely passionate for magic…and still is. The duo managed to survive for over a decade, and during the 80’s they finally got their chance and started starring shows like The Tonight Show and Saturday Night live.  Penn and Teller have become a hit in the list of the best Las Vegas magic shows; they have been named "Las Vegas Magicians of the Year” on two occasions since the duo moved permanently to the Rio Hotel and Casino in 2002.

Penn and Teller also had several television specials to show off their skills including numerous productions outside Las Vegas. They also created their own television projects, including “Penn & Teller’s Sin City Spectacular,” “Penn & Teller’s Home Invasion,” the Showtime movie “Penn & Teller’s Invisible Thread,” and the NBC specials “Don’t Try This at Home” and “Penn & Teller: Off The Deep End.” Penn & Teller made their big screen debut in Penn & Teller Get Killed. In 2005, they appeared in the “The Aristocrats”, a documentary in where they discuss a very dirty joke with several comedians and other famous performers. Penn & Teller have also written several books including “Cruel Tricks for Dear Friends”, “How to Play With Your Food” and “How to Play in Traffic”.

Penn and Teller are masters of all aspects of magic and they are good at making things disappear before your eyes, but that’s not all you can expect, they are also great entertainers and that’s something they make clear on every show. I love to watch them perform their tricks with the ball and cups as they can move their hands faster than your eyes. I wanted to see them perform when I went to Vegas this past summer, but I could not fit their show into my schedule. t is a production like no other in Las Vegas, that’s why tickets are also hard to come by so get them quick.
