Poker Premier League season 3 and the tournament’s line up is finally
complete. The event, which will take place in
Peter Eastgate recently made history by becoming the youngest ever Main Event champion, but instead of taking some time to enjoy his moment of fame, the 22-year-old from Odense, Denmark, will be making his first post-WSOP appearance at PartyPoker.com Premier League III in where he’s going to confront some of the best players in the professional poker circuit.
“This is my first event since the WSOP Main Event final table, so I am delighted to be part of a world-class lineup. I am the man in form and I want to show people why I am the World Champion.†said Esagate.
The 12 players league will play six times in the preliminary rounds, with the top four advancing to the final table. The next four will play head-up for the remaining two final table seats. The PartyPoker’s Premier League III buy-in was raised from $60,000 to $75,000 million with Party Poker adding another $350,000 for a total pool of $1.25 million.
Hellmuth was the 12th and final player called to take part in the PartyPoker.com Premier League. The 11 time bracelet winner and former youngest WSOP Main Event Champ says he’s excited to play against the new world champ, saying:
“Only a few weeks back, Peter Eastgate broke my record as youngest world champion of poker in history at the tender age of 22-years-old. I’m looking forward to watching the way this young gun plays his hands in the Premier League.â€Â
PartyBets.com has also released odds for the Party Poker Premier League III, according to the online sportbetting site, the favorite to win the annual event are Dave Ulliot, JC Tran and Tony G, followed by The 2008 WSOP champ, Peter Eastgate, Phil Hellmuth, Nenad Medic and Annette Obrestad.
