PartyPoker reissues Paris Hilton Bentley challenge

  • 5-17-2009
Officials of the online poker site PartyPoker.com have expressed the site may host a heads-up match between socialite, failed singer and actress, Paris Hilton and World Poker Tour Host and professional poker player Host Mike Sexton. The winner will take home a brand new Bentley.

About three years ago PartyPoker offered Hilton a chance to play for a Bentley Continental GT that she supposedly lost playing poker. But even when losing a Bentley is enough to consider a quiet retirement from poker, Party Poker is now trying to convince the former ‘Simple Life’ star to test her skills against Sexton.

"Forget one night in Paris, we’re offering her one night to win a replacement for her vandalized Bentley! Fortune may be on her side in many ways but when it comes to Bentleys it certainly doesn’t seem to be the case so we’re confident Mike Sexton would win. We challenge her to take us up on the offer. Three years is a long time in show business and we’re sure she’d jump at it now - it is a simple offer for the former Simple Life star. Following the original offer in 2006 the likes of Clonie Gowen also made public challenges to the heiress but so far Paris has resisted.”said PartyPoker in a statement released last Friday, only a few days after Hilton reported that her brand new Bentley was vandalized.

Paris has played several poker tournaments, including the 2009 World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, however, her poker resume fall short against Sexton's, who counts with one WSOP Bracelet, 44 cash outs and $3,600,000 in total tournament winnings. If Hilton decides to accept the challenge, she will the face Sexton in a heads-up tournament. No deadline has been given for Hilton to give an official answer.
