PartyPoker ready for second Monthly Million Tournament of the year

PartyPoker.com returns this Sunday with the second Monthly Million tournament of the year, this new regular guaranteed tournament features a guaranteed million dollar prize pool on the first Sunday of each month, making it the biggest regular online tournament offered by a non U.S poker site. The tournament’s "championship style" blind structure guarantees plenty of action, and it proved to be a big hit among the online players when last month the site registered a total 1669 entries for the first Million dollar event. The first edition of the PartyPoker Monthly Million was won by "Popeye7111" of France, who won a $155,000 prize after cutting a deal on the heads up.

The event's $600+$40 buy-in also makes it one of the most expansive tournaments to enter on the monthly tournament calendar, however, PartyPoker gives all its players, regardless of the level or bankroll, the chance to qualify for the event through a series of online satellites starting for as low as $1.

Players have extra chances to enter the big event with the $32+$3 qualifier running the day before the Million dollar tournament guaranteeing 25 seats, and the "Mega Friday" $50+$5 satellite awarding at least 30 seats into the Monthly Million. Party Poker also offers daily $64+$4 qualifiers guaranteeing 18 seats every day. Players with larger bankrolls can enter the $340 buy in "Ultimate Qualifier" also running on Sunday at 11:15 ET and offering a total of 10 seats guaranteed. In addition, another 50 seats are given away on the day of the tournament with the "50 Seat Frenzy" running the first Sunday of every month at 11:25 ET. There are also a number of "Super8" Qualifiers feeding into the Monthly Million tournament, which as the name suggests are $88 buy-in satellites with one in eight players winning a seat.

As you would expect, Party Poker also has a series of smaller daily feeders starting for as little as $1, and running all the way up until the main event on Sunday and beyond it in preparation for the fourth Monthly Million scheduled on April 5th.
