Party Poker launches leaderboard promo awarding a seat at 2010 Premier League Poker Playoff Event in Las Vegas

Online poker site PartyPoker.com is offering its users an opportunity to compete for a seat to the upcoming PartyPoker.com Premier League Poker Playoff Event. PartyPoker's points race kicks off on December 7th and  will continue through January 3rd. This promotion is only open to Palladium Lounge members who can view this promotion in their Party Account. To take part in this promo, players need to collect as many PartyPoints as possible and try to finish among the top earners. Only PartyPoints earned during the promotional period count towards the leader board. The leader board will be updated once every hour.

The winner of this point race will take a special prize package worth $9,000 that includes a seat in the $6,250 buy-in event, airfare and hotel accommodations in Las Vegas plus $2,000 in spending money.

Players finishing among the top 250 positions on the leaderboard will also get a share ot the $155,000 guaranteed prise pool. To make things even more exciting, Party Poker sill gibe everyone who finishes in the top 600 the opportunity to play in the PartyPoker.com Premier League Poker Playoff Freeroll on 10th January, where there are two more $9,000 packages and even more cash prizes will be awarded to players.

The PartyPoker.com Premier League Poker Playoff Event will take place on February 7th and 8th in Las Vegas and will feature a prize pool of $1.5 million. The previous installment of the Premier League was won by JC Tran, who outlasted one of the toughest final tables in history and comprised by Roland de Wolfe, Peter Eastgate, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Tony G and Juha Helppi.
