Party Poker introduces Sit and Go Go Go
- 4-18-2008
Only have a few minutes to play but don’t feel like playing cash games? Well Party Poker has introduced their Hell Kat timed based SNG’s. They last 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes and are offered in a variety of games with buy-ins from $3-$6, including the fee.
So say you enter a tournament with 9 people, buy in is $5, and start playing a table in where the time limit is 15 minutes. Once 15 minutes have been reached, they will play the final last hand, and then, based on chip stacks, the top 3 players with the most chips get the prize pool divided amongst them. So in our example, with a $5 buy in, and 9 people, each person in the top 3 chip count gets $15 ($45 prize pool divided by 3 people)PartyPoker.com also has random timed tournaments, which can end in 5 minutes or 20 minutes, but this information is not showed in the tournament information. I have played in 2 of these sit and go's before, and cashed in 3 of these. They are actually quite fun to play in, especially when you do not have a lot of time. Sit & Go tournaments will start as soon as the table reaches a number of registered players. If a player is not present at the table, he or she will be blinded and/or anted. Players will be able to revert the registration as long as game hasn’t started. Don’t forget to sign up now using WDIAV702 code and get 30% bonus up to $150 from PartyPoker.
