- 12-5-2009
PartyPoker.com will be giving away seats to Aussie Millions qualifiers through the final Stewart Scott Aussie Millions event taking place on Sunday, December 6th at 03.05 ET (19.05 AEST) and featuring an affordable $6+$1 buy in.
First place will win a seat into the $640 qualifier, second place gets a seat at the $128 qualifier, while third will claim a $70 qualifier seat. Top ranking players will also get prize money from the buy-in pool. Also any player who knocks Stewart out will pocket a $70 bounty.
"I warmed-up by winning the bounty tournament on Tuesday and look forward to hosting this tournament which offers a great value route into the 2010 Aussie Millions!" said Stewart, who also plays in the $64+$6 Aussie Millions ANZ Friendly Satellite Qualifier at 04.05 ET (19.05 AEST) every Tuesday and Thursday.
Stewart is a popular figure on the Australian poker circuit and a loyal member of PartyPoker's VIP club the Palladium Lounge. In January 2009, he became the first Australian in the modern era to take down the Aussie Millions Main Event, scooping $1,865,724.
Besides the weekend qualifier, Party Poker offers players a wide range of qualifiers starting from as little as just $1, and feeding into the weekly semi finals, and into two $600+40 satellites on Sunday 13th December.
