Online Qualifiers available for 2009 Belgium Open Poker Championships

Online poker sites EverestPoker.com and PokerStars.com have teamed up wit the the Belgium Open Poker Championships to offer players seats at the sixth annual BOPChampionship scheduled from Nov. 21 to 29. at the Casino de Namur in Belgium.
Online players will have many inexpensive ways to win a seat in the € 1,500 + € 200 main event. PokerStars offers daily satellites starting for as little as $5 + $0.50, with one seat on offer for the weekly $25 + $2 buy-in satellite per every $27 in the prize pool. The weekly $25 + $2 events will award one seat at the $200 + $15 buy-in monthly final for every $215 in the prize pool. The monthly final will give away a Belgium Open Poker Championship package per every $4,500 in its prize pool. These satellites can be found in the "Events" section of the PokerStars lobby, under "Special".
At EverestPoker, players will have the chance to climb a special Sit 'n' Go Steps tournament to reach their seat in Namur. Players can use their Step 5 tokens or buy in directly to any $336 + $24 Belgium Open qualifier listed under the "Steps" tab of the "Sit 'n' Go Tournaments" section in the Everest Poker lobby.
Last year's event attracted a total of 843 players and awarded a € 315,875 (over $550.000) to the first place. This year the event is expected to attract up to 1,000 players for an estimated prize pool of €1.5 million ($2 million). Some of the biggest names in the European circuit such as Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier , Arnaud Mattern, Ludovic Lacay, Lex Veldhuis, Davidi Kitai, Noah Boeken, Marcel Luske, Marc Naalden, and last season's EPT grand final champion Pieter De Korver have already signed up to play the week long tournament series.
Besides the Main event, the 2009 BOP Championship will feature a new heads-up team event set to start on Nov. 23rd aswell as six other NL Hold'em events with buy ins ranging from €100+10 to €1,000+50.
