The third edition of the annual World Poker Congress (WPC) will gather online poker operators, providers, advisors, supporters and executives of the online and land based poker industry in a congress held in Budapest, Hungary on October 29^th and 30^th. Attendants and operators will have the chance to discuss vital issues for the poker market with experts from both, the online and land based gaming sectors in a series of events intended to create a new perspective of the industry and to promote a strongest business relation between executives of the companies represented at the WPC.

The list of speakers at the 2008 WPC will have several newcomers such as the European Casino Association as well as veteran gaming and poker experts including Steve Lipscomb, founder and CEO of World Poker Tour Enterprises, who will address the audience about the actual perception and future of the poker industry.

The World Poker Congress 2008 will also feature conferences about live poker and internet poker in where attendants will learn and discuss the latest updates and tendencies in the industry as well as networking events, refreshment breaks, lunches, product exhibitions and meetings in where the panel will examine new topics such as the implementation of marketing methods to attract players, the roll of females players in land based and online poker tournaments and new ways to promote the online poker brands at live poker events.
