ROK Vegas at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino will debut during the Labor Day weekend with a performance by pop-rock celebrity Katy Perry on Saturday, August 30th.
ROK’s opening will bring a new air to the Las Vegas nightlife scene, the new club will feature the first 360-degree video screen in Sin City, which will provide all guests with concerts, live club scenes, lasers and tons of animations and music videos programmed by ROK’s exclusive VJ, who be in charge of the special lighting effects and images projected during the live music shows.
The video imagery and complex settings were created by renamed production designer Vello Edmund Virkhaus, who has teamed up in the past with bands such as Coldplay, Bon Jovi and 50 Cent.
In addition to full-bottle service, the Las Vegas nightclub created by Jonas Lowrence and designed by Francois Frossard will offer half-bottle service. VIP visitors and partygoers will have the option of selecting from several premium brands in a half-bottle size. Besides an exceptional visual and audio system, unique bottle service and great ambience, Rok will also include an exclusive outdoor VIP lounge located only a few steps away from the Las Vegas Strip. ÂÂ
"The Las Vegas nightlife scene is constantly evolving. With the introduction of Rok, New York-New York continues to position itself as an industry leader by offering our guests a one-of-a-kind nightclub experience." said Cynthia Kiser Murphey, president and COO of New York-New York. ÂÂ
ROK will open to the public on Friday, August 29th, with a regular schedule from Wednesday to Sunday opening at 10:00 p.m.
