New Kids on the Block announce concert at the Pearl Concert Theater

Members of the former ‘Boy’ band and 80’s pop sensation New Kids on the Block have announced that they will return to Las Vegas to perform a one of a kind concert on July 11th at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Resort and Casino.

While the former boy band are close to 40, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, and Jonathan Knight are still known as the New Kids by the millions of equally grown up fans around the world. The 5 piece band, which became a musical phenomenon twenty years ago thanks to its number one hit “Hangin’ Tough”, defined how a boy band should look and sound like and created the standards used by dozens of other boy bands including N’Sync, Five, Up Town, Back Street Boys and Take That. The “Kids” have sold over 70 million albums around the world thanks to the success of songs such as “You Got It (The Right Stuff),” “Cover Girl,” “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time),” “Hangin’ Tough,” “I’ll Be Loving You,” “Step By Step” and “Tonight”. They also sold millions of products, including toys, stickers, posters, t-shirts and even lunchboxes.

Last year, the group announced its plans to come back after more than a decade on the limbo, and even when none or the members are “kids” anymore, the reunion tour proved they are still capable of moving millions of fans around the world regardless of their age. Now that the five Kids are together again, the band is on the road with a new show. The new tour will kick off today in Manchester, New Hampshire and will continue until July 18th with the last concert programmed on July 18th in Houston, TX.
