M Resort opens 250 positions due strong customer demand
Officials of the M Resort Spa Casino, the new Las Vegas resort located on South Las Vegas Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway, have announced that the property has started the necessary process to hire an additional 250 team members. According to casino officials, the resort was expected to do 5,000 covers a day in its food and beverage outlets and has done nearly double that in since its debut on March 1st.
"The M has received an overwhelming response from the market," said Anthony A. Marnell, III, Chairman and CEO of the M Resort in a statement. "In a city where a number of projects have been stopped or put on hold, we were able to open on time and under budget to thousands of eager guests. It shows that despite the economy, there are people who are willing to spend if they know they are getting great service and value."
The resort is also announced that it will open up more sign-up stations for its iMagine Rewards Club and now has 20 enrollment stations for customers. The casino officials have reported that since the opening the M Resort, the casino has enrolled more than 20,000 iMagine Rewards Club members. The M Resort's iMagine Rewards club members may use their points for dining, cash back, rooms and suites and free play. Members can also redeem points at M Resort's on-site gas station, car wash and pharmacy.
"Our team members have done a phenomenal job and are working extremely hard to meet the needs of our guests. They've been working around the clock and still have smiles on their faces. No matter how tiring it's been, they're all up for the challenge. We're taking immediate steps to hire more motivated team members to reinforce our service commitment and assist our guests. The demand is there and the people have expressed their love for our product in just these few short days. Our guests are coming from all over Las Vegas, including in-market tourists, not just from our neighboring communities south of the Strip." Marnell said.
The resort is expecting to fill the required positions by next week to help with the thousands of customers that have come to enjoy the top service and value, great amenities and stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip offered by the M Resort. To meet the demand of its guests, the M Resort has opened its restaurant terraces early for more diners and will install another 100 slot games and ATM/cash kiosks on the casino floor.
"Prior to opening, I said we were going to provide our guests with the best slot club, the best service, the best gaming mix with the highest pay tables, the best dining in a new and exciting environment and we're doing that and our guests are responding. We have a lot of exciting amenities and innovative concepts that we are looking forward to introducing to the public. At the beginning of April we present our pool events in the entertainment and events piazza as well as happy hour specials. We are just starting to introduce people to the M and once they experience the resort I am confident they will continue to come back." said Marnell.
