Lynyrd Skynyrd's BBQ & Beer will open at the Excalibur Las Vegas on December 8th, with a week full of live concerts and promotions leading up to the grand opening celebration. 

The new restaurant will feature barbecue from the 111-year old Kreuz Market in Lockhart, Texas, served in "carvery style" to allow for quicker service. One of the great things about Lynyrd Skynyrd's new restaurant is the fact that the average check will total only about $25.

“It’s the kind of place that we’d like to hang out at,” said Lynyrd Skynyrd's Johnny Van Zant to The Daily Meal. “With Southern-style barbecue and great music, this will be the perfect spot for rock and barbecue fans to kick back and have a great time in Vegas.”

Living up to its name, BBQ & Beer will also serve a wide variety of beer and handcrafted cocktails, including a "shot menu" and specialty drinks created with Jack Daniel's liquor.

The restaurant also has a 5,000 square foot live music venue, where bands will perform nightly.
