LIVE to perform special concert at The Palazzo's Pool Area

The Palazzo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas is honored to announce that Live, one of the most successful and enduring alternative rock bands from the 90's generation, will present a special performance at The Pools, The Palazzo's exclusive pool area, on Thursday, June 11th, 2009.
Formed in York, Pennsylvania in 1988 by Chad Taylor (guitar), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass) and Chad Gracey (drums) and singer Ed Kowalczyk, Live has recorded seven full-length albums with total sales surpassing the 20 million copies sold worldwide. Live first album, “Mental Jewelry†made the band one of the key players in the 90's alternative music scene thanks to singles like "Operation Spirit (The Tyranny of Tradition)" and "Pain Lies on the Riverside."
The band reached the mainstream success in 1995 with the Award Winning album "Throwing Copper" which climbed to the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Chart selling over 8 million copies. The band's top hits include songs such as "Lightning Crashes," “Selling the Dramaâ€Â, “White Discussionâ€Â, "I Alone," "The Dolphin's Cry," "Heaven," and much more.
Live's high energy one-time special performance is presented by Absolut Vodka. Palazzo Pools feature seven pools, fountains, cabanas, lounge chairs, private showers, food and beverage service and more. Guests will also have the chance to hang out with the band after the show at the official concert after-party at the pool and relax and enjoy upbeat DJ vibes as the energy from the concert continues into the late hours of the evening. Only VIP and cabana ticket holders will be granted access to the official after-party. VIP cabanas include air-conditioned accommodation for six with a complimentary bottle of Absolut Vodka.
