Poker players all over Europe are lining up to participate in the €250,000 guaranteed Irish Poker Festival in the pleasing Irish city of Killarney, from October 2nd - 5th, 2008, with the main event taking place between October 3^rd and October 5^th.

Only a week ago, Ladbrokes informed that the event will be filmed for documentary broadcast on Irish terrestrial TV station TG4 and distributed to several networks around the world. A web stream version of the documentary will also be available on Ladbrokespoker.com.

The Festival will also host a €300 no-limit Hold’em freezeout supporting event on Saturday October 4^th and a €170 no-limit freezeout game on Sunday October 5^th.

Players can qualify for the event every Monday at 7.30 p.m. (GMT) at Ladbrokespoker.com in $137.50 weekly satellite finals in where the online poker site will award an Irish Poker Festival package for every $1,250 in the prize pool. Each package includes the main event buy-in plus 2 night accommodation for two people at the Gleneagle Hotel.

Ladbrokes is also running super-satellites into the daily finals starting for as little as $5. The daily finals, which are held between Tuesday and Sunday at 7.30 p.m. GMT, feature a $33 buy-in.
