Las Vegas Sands and Starwood Hotels and Resorts sign agreement to build the St. Regis Residences
Las Vegas Sands announced today that it has signed an agreement with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. to develop the St. Regis 398 unit private luxury Residences currently under construction between the Palazzo and the Venetian resorts right on the populated Las Vegas Strip.
"The St. Regis name is synonymous with luxury and when it is combined with preferred access to the world-class amenities of The Venetian Resort and Casino and The Palazzo, there is little doubt that this residential product is one of the most compelling and exciting in the world. Those fortunate enough to purchase at The St. Regis Residences will have the rare opportunity to own a residence that is part of two world-class resorts in the heart of one of the most famous streets in the world." said Sheldon G. Adelson, chairman and chief executive officer of Las Vegas Sands Corp.
Expected to open in March, 2010, the St. Regis Residences will offer owners the famed features and luxury services that make the St. Regis brand so famous worldwide, including, butler service with butlers trained according to the English tradition, customizable rooms and some of the best accommodations in the world. The interiors and decoration have being selected to please even the most demanding customers. Buyers can also purchase fully-furnished "move-in ready" units that include furniture packages from celebrated designers. Residences will range in size from 1,700 to over 10,000 square feet for a duplex villa with private pool. According to Las Vegas Sands, the total sales for all units could reach the $2 billion total.
